Arabian Nights Released!

Artifex is proud to announce the release of Zoo Tycoon 2: Arabian Nights, a user made expansion containing 20 new animals and a bundle of new objects for the ultimate Arabian experience. The team has had a wonderful time making it, and we hope that everyone enjoys it!

We would like to keep the 20th animal secret so that people can have the mystery until they open up their games. Please try and avoid the forums until you download the pack, and after doing so refer to the animal as the "secret" or "20th" animal instead of by name for next week or so.

If you are interested in translating the expansion pack, feel free to open up and edit all of the lang files. Then please send them to us and we will upload them here. Please do NOT upload the files at another site without our permission.

Me too! This is so great, And do we have to download from every link or do you only have to download all of the "Any Expansion" one?

It depends on what expansions you have. If you have all 3 official expansions, you will have to click every link (the pack was split mainly for those with dial-up or slow connections). If you only have one expansion, then you will click the "Any XP links" and the links under the expansion you have.

Does that make more sense?

Arabian Nights requires at least one expansion to work correctly. The Any Expansion packs contain items that do not require a specific expansion such as MM or AA, but do require you to have something other than the vanilla ZT2. You can download the other packs depending on what expansions you have installed.

Unfortunatly, when I download everything except for the DOWNLOAD THIS FIRST, AA Scenery, and AA Animals 1, it says that the folder is invalid and/or corrupted. I have all EXP.

The links seem fine to me. Please try redownloading them!

When I downloaded Kang's Extinct Bird Pack 2 from ZTV, the same message appeared..... I'll restart my computer.

I am having a problem with the pack. I downloaded the download first, then mm animals 1 and then went into the game and nothing was there. The first time I just extracted then moved into the folder while the second time I extracted directly into the folder and neither worked. I then tried to see if I needed the foliage pack first but it didn't make any difference. Can you tell what is wrong?
