Hello there Artifex!
My name's Charlie, I used be an administrator at an old ZT fansite known as Zoo Tycoon Gold, I hope some of the designers recognise me! Haha. Its good to be back! Im loving the forums, along with the site, its all brilliant.
I left the ZT community when other things started kicking off in real life. I still played ZT2 occasionally but ultimately, I lost interest. After coming back on to take a peek at whats been going on after three years, I just had to say a big hello to everyone that made the old days special. Sounds cheesey but to be frank you all really did make me happy haha. A hello to all new gamers aswell.
You designers are all amazing. Im not just saying that because of the great stuff you all make, its also down to how undeniably dedicated you are. I remember witnessing the formation of this design group and since then it seems youve all been pouring your free time, along with your heart and soul into these great expansions and downloads, whilst keeping the community buzzing.

@Penguinman: I never really got round to saying an honest thank you for all the help you gave me and Pete back in the day, with ZTG and all that coding haha. So thanks a bunch mate.

PS I was going to try out Island Excursions, but I cant seem to download the 'Download This First' file, the link's broken. Any help people?

Hi there Boblus! This forum has presently hit some inactivity since development of our expansions have ended with Island Excursions, (although I believe Penguinman and Shen are still doing the finishing touches on the content yet to be released) so sorry that we haven't been able to reply. I do remember you and Pete from back in 2006 when ZTG launched that whole "Project Genesis" thing with several forums of which I took part of, but it obviously didn't last very long hehe. Thanks a lot for stopping by and thanks a million for your kind comments!

I can't really speak on behalf of PM and Shen with the broken links since I think they manage the downloads, but looks to me like they work just fine now.

Yes, sadly Artifex will not be doing a third expansion, but I'm happy with what we've accomplished.
