Island Excursions Release Topic, 22 Animals are now available!

S.S. Artifex, Ship's Log: 11th September, 2009.

Our round the world trip has come to an end, and we have slowly but steadily been gathering the plants and animals to release for Island Excursions. Over the last two years crew members have come and gone, we have grown older and taken on new responsibilities and challenges in our lives, and our adventure on the high seas has not always been the forefront of our minds. As we head for the dock for the last time, there is a heavy weight on our hearts - the journey is nearly complete.

But there is also excitement and joy, because the first part of Island Excursions is now ready for release! The first five animals, alongside all the foliage,the Paradise theme scenery and buildings are here for you now! We have been working as hard as we can to get everything finished, and we will get there eventually, but we thought it would only be fair to release the expansion in blocks as we finish them up.

The New Guinea location has been completed! You can now download the Speckled Longfin Eel, Dingiso, and Northern Cassowary as well as a hack that will move all of the New Guinea animals and foliage to the more appropriate montane forest biome if you wish.

I had a small fit when I saw this

One problem though, although not on your part. with the new Montane forest, the download link doesn't work at the ZTDC. Do you think you could pm them and ask them to check the link?
I've downloaded everything else though, I love the new themes

When all the animals are released are you going to put them all in one pack, like the foliage?

Yes, when everything is finished we will have the option to download in bigger packs.

When will you be releasing parts 3, 4 etc, like once a week or do you not have a release date for the other packs yet?

We don't have any release dates, just trust that we're working as hard and as fast as we can to get everything finished up
