The brute almost snorted in shock when he looked upon this place. It was quite the opposite from where he usually stayed and with no snow on the ground he felt as though he was walking on nothing. Was weird for most wolves to feel this way but having lived aroudn snow all your life...well this was a drastic change for sure. Tobi's ears flicked forward as he stepped up to the border, sitting down behind it with a lopsided position.
Even though he'd not lived in a pack for forever he still remembered atleast some good manners. One of them not going near the borders or passing them without permission. His nose lifted into the air and he let out a deep, low howl. Most would think it as challenging, yet he'd not lived with other wolves so he really didn't know how to howl without causing stress to others. He lowered his head after he finished and looked around, wondering where that fae had gone off to. He'd lost her on the way here, most likely she having strayed off the path to look at something more interesting. T'was what fae's did.
Though he was quite certain that if this alpha didn't come first then he would soon hear that fae's yippy bark coming from behind. His eye twitched slightly at the thought. High pitched barks always got to him...but this fae was sweet and he liked that. She was just being nice and he knew when someone was being nice....or being just plain annoying. His dark eyes scanned the land and a look of distaste flashed over his face, though he said nothing about the place. If this was a place to stay, as Kiri had said, then so be it.
Was better than nothing.
