This isn't my battling team, but it's the team that I usually have when I'm traveling in my Platinum:

Staraptor (Feathers) lv. 61
Empoleon (Icy) lv. 65
Luxray (Eckeltric [If you know where the nickname comes from then YOU ROCK!!!]) lv. 62
Metagross lv. 50 (a pokemon that I mainly use for the battle frontier.)
Salamence lv. 50 (another pokemon that I use for the battle frontier)
Aggron (IRON) lv. 50 (another pokemon that I use for the battle frontier)

The movesets aren't the best on my Battle Frontier pokemon, because I had no idea wth an IV, EV, IP or EP was back then. But I still like them because of their variety of moves.
My Empoleon, Luxray, and Starpator were the three pokemon that I've had since the beginning of the game, and they're the pokemon that I mainly beat the Elite 4 with. I know that they're at pretty low levels, but that's because I want their levels to be relatively equal. My brother has way stronger pokemon in his Platinum because he just trained his Starpator and Empoleon.

Feraligator almost beat the Battle Hall, if only I had EQ, 'cause then I would have destroyed the Brain's Empoleon.
