Every forum will eventually die. If you encourage them to leave, you're asking them to catalyze the process. So really 'fine, let it wither and die' isn't a very good response to their choosing to not leave, is it..

The things I don't understand are:

-- If you believe the members here are such n00bs ('^^; Not that I can honestly say I terribly disagree; the n00b level is pretty high. (Not to say all members are or naming any names.) However, despite a general lack of grammar and 'zomg everything is awesome' attitudes stereotypical of the average n00b, members here are quite nice and in a closeknit community, proving every likelyhood that they are simply young overall and will become more mature members with time.) why would you want them, and why would you spend so much time arguing with them?

-- Why exactly did you come here if you dislike this forum yourself?

-- Why ask others to LEAVE at all? As this place is generally a slower pace than many boards, though still perfectly active, why not ask if they'd like to BE PART of an ADDITIONAL board rather ask them to MOVE to a different board?

At any rate, first forum fever doesn't guarantee actual n00bishness. I look back now on some early boards I was on and go "Wow I was a nub xD", but it's just something to giggle about. Because it was FUN when I was there. :3 So as long as everyone is having fun here, who cares if they don't act completely professional at all times?

Want to know what does constitute a n00b? Ganging up with a friend to go around in every topic calling names and saying how much you think a board sucks in every topic.
