Any ideas/help?

Welcome to the RPG area

The general RP area is just to give us something to do until we get the RPG in full swing.

The thing is, I've hardly ever roleplayed, so I don't know all that much about it. And I could use some help with getting this thing started.

So, anyone got anything?

i don't know much about it, i was wondering if we should ask for help on fafner yaoi and the regular fafner site on livejournal.

Oh, I have never role played, but I have read some.
I thing the first thing to do is select the characters. Then, everyone can create a thread with a theme (this is NOT that easy, the person who create has to describe the starting place and what is his characters doing and such); then, other characters can reply with a dialogue or a action... NOT DOUBLE POSTING

I thing it is only a bit of the whole thing. If you want, I can try a rule guide ^^

yea the rule guide would be great and i've picked soushi what do you guyz want. Also i figured posting on livejournal would get us more people since us three are the only ones that are active here. If you think its a good idea i'll ask on lj right away!

Well, I have a question, will be allowed to role play more than one thread at time? I mean, the same character on differents threads... or... maybe, each thread is a NON related one with the others?

Sorry I haven't been around lately! School's been keeping me busy.

I've only ever done Zoids Roleplays, and it's always been original characters, not using characters from the Anime.

But Sieg's pretty much right.
You usually have to apply for characters, which includes a bit of writing like an example RP post, so the members in charge can make sure you have reasonable writing skills, etc. (That's not too important -- it's more for when there's a lot of people wanting to play and there may be multiple people wanting to RP as the same character)

Then one person makes a new thread like Sieg said, detailing the place, time, and sometimes certain rules that apply to that thread only. Then everyone else can join in and... play.

It depends, I guess. If we have a main story-line, then you'll probably only be able to be in one thread at a time. But we can always have unrelated side-threads going as well.

Posting on LJ and maybe some other relevant sites would be a good way to get more people, but I think we should only ask once we've got everything sorted out.

I have come back! I have passed my exams and now... I am more relaxed, this night I will copy down all the RPG related thing ^,^
