As has been said before on the forums, those of us who actually check the boards are not going to just give you specific answers. I'm happy to help you refine and develop your answer, but you gotta do more than just spout the question and expect a detailed response.
Here's what you need to do to get started - first, look at the notes over the chapters that cover this time period and see how the social and economic fabric of the nation actually changed. That shouldn't be too hard - write down some key points about the economy and social order as it was in 1824, and see how that was different by 1840; obviously there has to be a reason they're different, so look at important political things from the time (laws, presidents, etc.). Free hint: look at slavery and the attitudes toward it. Second, look at the documents, and find a way to group them into a few different categories (they're designed to be able to do this) of related texts/images on topics about the politics of the era. Bam, right there you have your body paragraphs - just explain how the documents are related and how they explain a change over time. Slap on an introduction and conclusion and you're done, piece of cake. |
