Its been awhile since i was on this site and it seems to have strayed from the original political forum foundings it was based upon, to put it nicely. Hopefully, there are still some people interested in politics on the site, so i pose this question to you...who is your choice for the President in '08?

I think it will be John McCain. It has to be. Barack Obama has done nothing, and as far as I'm concerned is a lying coward who won't admit to his prior familiarities. I think McCain's "Joe the Plumber" can pick him up in the next week, if he can present the message well.

I feel McCain has been screwed too much by the temporary loss of confidence in the Republican Party over the last few years. While obviously he is not George Bush, I think most Americans will too quickly see McCain > Republican > Bush.

Facist, what familiarities are you talking about? I hope it isn't the Ayers trash.
