He's been teaching me for more than a year, and still, I'm quite clueless about Mr. McVane. He's hard to corner, even for me, but he is a nice teacher. I never felt the urge to start a childish vendetta against him, maybe I just fear the kind of measures he would be willing to take if I was to start throwing balls of paper at Alicia, in his precense... You can't fool the man, I can tell.

People just shrug me off when I bring this on but, I think he sort of looks miserable and lonely ... Then again, if he is, maybe he's just happy with it, since he does not seem all that thrilled when I try to pull off a good conversation with him, in the hallways. Anyhow, I shall continue to attend his classes and fight the urge to give him a big hug.

He’s a pretty cool dude. I’ve been late like a zillion times for his class, but I get my work and homework done on time. Mostly that is. I don’t have all my stuff either on the days that I am on time. He seems to understand that I can’t stay focused and sit still for too long. That’s why I have a seat at the back of the class, so I can stand instead of sit while he’s teaching and move my legs a bit. I think it’s pretty sweet that he lets me do this. I like him. He’s my favorite teacher, but don’t let him know I said that.

Donnie . . . What can I say about my man ? He was the first to convince me, when I arrived here, that not every man I would meet from now on would be jerks. Maybe I actually had doubts when I first saw him there, smoking with his careless hair hidden under a hat and with those dark eyes staring at me as if he had never seen a woman sucking on a lollipop and holding a Mickey Mouse mug, before. He was not very talkative or smiling at first, even when we were stuck with just one another in the staff room, and he was a fool to believe that I was the kind of person who would just let it be that way.

I just decided to allow him in for good or bad and, luckily, it was for the greater good. He is more eccentric than he let me think he was and it feels really good to have him around. He is also charming in a certain way and completely trust worthy, tough I have yet to admit this to myself.
