BACKGROUND: The two Igins siblings came to the world on a warm night of July. Their parents were part of an eased social class and overwhelmed their children with love, the second they were handed to them.They treated them like Royal Kids, until they reached the age of six. School came at that age, and from their point of view, real life sgtarted there. Ian was then exclusively tutored by his father and was meant to be nothing less than his perfect and performing little boy, while his sister would learn from her mom how to be the most civilised and flawless young girl. He was taught very quickly that there were three things a real man would never do; depend on somebody, show no confidence and fail.

For the Igins, traditions were sacred, and failures were forbiden. The twins were alwasy encouraged, if not obliged, to be involved in all the most respectable social activities. Of course, they always made it sound like the choice was theirs, and it just happened to work perfectly

Ian wasn't even thriteen that he was already involved in all the town's sport team, and his father would never miss any of his games and would only congratulate him if he had given his very best. There were also expectations placed on his shoulders on the academic side, but it was never as important.
