Final Fantasy X-2

I've just purcased this game, and its not a dissappointment either unlike its prequel Final Fantasy X. The game contains action, stragedy, puzzles and of course you need to know some history of spira.

The game is set two years after Yuna the summoner at the time destroyed sin, now the young summoner is no longer a summoner, she is a Sphere hunter. Along side her cousin, the hyper sugar rushed Rikku and the quiet Paine which ride around Rikku's brothers airship finding and searching for missions to claim shperes.

The games graphics are quite impressive, I have to admit. Espically the fmv, plus there is anti-alising on them now so they don't look edgy. Unlucky its on there shadows when in fights... dry.gif But thats just a little flaw. The graphics on the characters are no longer isolimatic, meaning that they don't look 2D on a 3D background unlike Final Fantasy X.

The battle system is quite nice also and very fast, so you need to be quick and keep your eyes open and attack. Plus you have the ability to change to a different skill like White mage, warrior and so on. There abitlities are kept in dressspheres where you claim them by doing missions and side-missions.

The game is more of a challenge now, this time there are bumps and the storyline gets you exited and wants you to be part of it. The puzzles are alot harder and the story can be changed either way you play it. The game is also set into chapters like a story book, but it doesn't look like one.

I would suggest everyone to buy this Final Fantasy as its one of the best in my collection now, hard and exciting how I like them. biggrin.gif

lordy, lordy, lordy, you prefer X-2 over X! at least X had an intriguing storyline, not to mention how much control you had over your character's stat building. Now, dont get me wrong, i have no problem with X-2, i really liked it, its just that i found X overall to be much better. Not to mention it was much too short and was only kept alive in chapter 5 with the tons of sidequests and minigames. Gauntlet mode was really fun though. smile.gif

Erm... I know this is an old topic but I must say that FFX is better than FFX-2. ITs got a much, MUCH better storyline and the skills are so cool. FFX-2 is a bit corny, butits still a brilliant game. But FFX kicks its ass. I like the FFX-" idea of a rota play though, its kinda cool.
