(You don't have to read ALL of this, just enough to understand things. Just refs have to understand it all. . .)

Come here to battle your pokemon with computer-pokemon or another trainer. You get $75 if you win.

If you are requesting CP battles, post in this thread, and a ref will make a battle topic. Request Battles to another trainer via PM please! After you both agree, you may come to this topic and both post (so I know you both agreed). I don't care how many battles you are in at the same time.
Use this format:
1.) YourUsername vs. TheOtherPerson (If doing a CP Battle, put CP Lv. _ for the other person)

2.) Type of Battle

3.) Pokemon Information (Please give the level, exp, and the item your pokemon is holding for every pokemon that you are using in the battle)

Types of Battling
Single: 1 vs. 1. Against CPU or another trainer. Each side must be using just one pokemon.
Multi-Single: =# vs =#. Against another trainer. Each person must be using the same amount of pokemon.
Double: 2 vs 2. Against CP or another trainer. Each side has two pokemon (exactly).
Multi-Double: =# vs =#. Against another trainer. Each person has an equal number of pokemon, and compete in a 2 vs 2 match.

Post in this thread if you would like to battle a computer pokemon. You may pick the level, but the pokemon is set at random. ^^

Step-by-Step Instructions
1.) Ask me to battle with an Computer-Pokemon or another trainer (Use the correct format. Look above for the fomat).
2.) If you are battling with another trainer, you must both post (using the correct format) in this thread with the proper information.
3.) A topic will be made by a ref, starting the battle. You'll know if you're a ref.
4.) You and the other trainer/computer-pokemon battle until someone wins. You will post, then the other trainer will post, then me or a ref will post, explaining what the result was. If you are battling a computer pokemon, you and the ref will post leap-frog style.
5.) If you win, you will get $75 added to your bank account, and the pokemon will grow levels if it is the right time. It shouldn't take more than 3 battles to grow a level. You will get $5 more for every levels higher the other pokemon was, and $5 less for every level lower the pokemon was. If you are battling another trainer, then you will recieve $50, plus $25 from the other trainer. The levels of the pokemon are not taken into account when concerning money in trainer battles.

Growing Levels
Pokemon give their own level in experience points if you beat them. You have to get experience to your own level in order to evolve. To see what level your pokemon is, and how much more exp it needs, check the adoption center.
ex: If I had a Magby lv. 5, and it battled an Elekid lv. 3 and won, it wouldn't grow a level, but would have 3/5 experience. Then lets say it battled a Smoochum lv. 3 and won. The pokemon would grow a level and have one left over, so it would be lv. 6 with exp-1/6.

HP
Pokemon have hp of 3 times their level. A pokemon lv 5 would have 15 hp.

Attacks
All pokemon know a defualt Tackle (thx to Zephyr for the idea), plus a four-attack moveset, like the video games. How the damage is determined: Take off the last number in the amount of Base Power the attck has. If the amount of base power ends in 5, it doesn't make a difference, you still just take off the 5.
ex: Headbutt has 70 base power. In this game, it has 7 because I just take off the zero.
Then levels go into effect. For every two levels higher a pokemon is than you, you have to take off 1 from the power. For every two levels higher you are than a pokemon, the attacks can gain 1 power. If you are 1 level stronger or 1 level weaker, than the amount of damage stays the same as if the two pokemon had been the same level.
Then there's type advantages. The type advantages are the same as in any new generation video game. To refs- if the other pokemon is higher leveled, but the pokemon is strong against it, you subtract or add the right amount BEFORE you double the damage.
In the first post of a battle, I will ALWAYS tell you what attacks your pokemon has, how much damage it would normally do, AND how much damage it does against the pokemon you are facing.
If a move has a side-effect, the random-number generator will be used to determine whether it is triggered or not.
Notes:
- Self-destruct and Explosion will inflict their hp on the opponent.

Attack/Defense
Though your pokemon does not have it's own stats for attack and defense in this game, the attack and defense CAN be effected during a battle. If a pokemon's attack is up by 1, then it's attacks will do 1 more damage than normal. If a pokemon defense is up, then the other pokemon's attacks will do 1 less damage to the pokemon. If the Attack or Defense is down, the effect is just reversed.

Poisoned/Paralyzed/Burned/Frozen/Confused/Asleep
If a pokemon is poisoned, pokemon will lose 10% of their hp every turn. If you need the equation, PM me. Round to the nearest whole hp. If your pokemon is paralyzed, then you have a 50% chance of being able to attack. If your pokemon is Burned, the pokemon will lose 15% of their hp for every turn they're burned. If a pokemon is Frozen, you have a 25% chance of being unfrozen every turn. For Sleeping, the effect is the same as being Frozen. If you are confused, then you have a 50% chance of attacking the enemy, and 50% chance that you will attack yourself and do half of the amount of damage that the attack would normally do. You also have a 25% chance of being unconfused each turn.

Note: With Explosion and Self-Destruct, your pokemon faints, but inflicts its hp.

Accuracy/Evasiveness
For Accuracy, the moves accuracy is taken and a random number is made. If the number is = to or below the accuracy of the move, then the attack hits. It's perfectly fair. If your accuracy is lowered, the accuracy of all your moves simply is reduced by 10. Raising your evasiveness is the same thing as lowering your opponents accuracy, and lowering your opponents evasiveness is the same as raising your accuracy.

Potions
Potion: +10 hp
Super Potion: +25 hp
Hyper Potion: +100 hp

Okay, start asking question and requesting battles and asking questions! ^^
