Hello. I'm a new user and a big fan. Before I begin, I have 2 questions, dealing with the user agreement I agreed to in signing up.

1)You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this BB.

Would tabs be off-limits then? It's nearly a completed work for Arch Angel, and I must say, I did a considerable amount of justice, given the constraints of the MIDI format and program.

2) You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate....

Heh, I hate to step into the official forums with something that may be off in parts and get nailed for it. Again, does this rule apply? If we're in the clear here, I have a link to offer you an excellent quality Power Tab for Morphing Into Nothing, as well as my own, which again, I'm working on the last 6 measures of the fading out solo for Arch Angel. The sooner I know, the sooner I'll share the love. Power Tab Editor is free-ware for those not familiar, a tablature program for guitarists.

Hello Andromeda, and hello all. I eagerly await Chimera's release here in America.

Hello Golbez!

Post away... That disclaimer is mostly concerning Mp3īs.

We are about to fix up a new look for the site soon and include a tab section. If you have a good one we would love to put it there!

Take care,

/Dave

Excellent. Here is the source for the other tab - http://www.powertabs.net/tablature.php?id=13172

Although you must be a member to log in (which is free), but I imagine most of you aren't, so I'll host the file separately. I just want to give credit to the author. We're in the same bizz :)

Edit - I don't see the file I've shared. I'm wondering, is that bugged? Does it not work? After I select "Browse" and find the file, then I hit "submit modified post." The screen refreshes with the directory now blank. :( Maybe I cannot share these gifts with you.

Yeah, it went down for about a month because of the pressure of the MPA (Music Publishing Association.) It is currently back up. During the down time, they've redone the site, so the least active users still may not be able to access everything just yet, or maybe you'll need to create a new account. Most of its original functions are up again at this time though. Check the news groups link for extra bits of info on their homepage.

I have found a temporary solution to my problem. Admins, please feel free to host these on your own if you so wish.

Again, Arch Angel is not finished, though it is very close. I'm just missing the ending (hard to discern the notes as it fades). Comments/criticisms/questions welcome. Hurry and grab 'em before the link expires. Hosted for a week or 25 downloads from what I recall.

Note - considering removing that 1/4 bend in the solo. Sounds like it's there. But MIDI kills it.

I don't know how many of you who actually are bass players, but I am currently working on bass transcriptions for the entire Extension Of The Wish album (The Words Unspoken and Star Shooter Supreme are done, currently working on Chameleon Carneval) - if anyone expresses their interest, I'll post the complete album transcription here as soon as it's completed. :)

Hey guys. Sorry for the long wait. School and other tab projects have kept me from it. But alas, it's here! Johan, that solo was a bitch to figure out, especially since the volume is fading. I think the last few measures should have a good shot at the real thing though :) Feel free to let me know how wrong I am and I'll give another crack at it.

Arch Angel!

Fremberg, it applies to all your work, but especially in Arch Angel, I'm astounded. You just have such great emotion into it. Kudos on being my favorite band, gang =D

And MrGul, I'd love to do some guitar tabs for your bass if you use Power Tab Editor. If you're interested, drop me a PM. I'm going to start a song or two more now that that one's done. Honoring requests except for Chimera and it's June release date. *sniff*

Interested in doing - Crescendo of Thoughts, Castaway, The Words Unspoken, Eclipse, or Extension.

Edit - heh, I'm looking at that law firm add at the bottom of the page, and, what a coincidence, I grew up 15 min. from Farmington Hills, MI. And Okemos isn't too far either - by MSU.

No, my plan is to use a standard notation program (like Sibelius or Finale, but I use an old program called Musicator) that has tab possibilities as well - that way I have more control of the layout and such - and can easily be converted into PDF. However, when I'm done - I might make Powertab versions of them, too. We'll see how it turns out. :)

So yeah, after finishing that one, I became motivated and started:

Chameleon Carnival
Extension of the Wish
Star Shooter Supreme
In the Deepest of Waters

It's sorta hard to work on some of these, as my guitar has a floyd rose tremelo which makes it harder for me to adjust its tuning, and I'm pretty much not used to anything beyond standard tuning anywho.

http://s53.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=01G9E9L...2O1W1NVMAQ6TYJS

Phil, the guy who made the tab for Morphing Into Nothing has agreed to work on In the Deepest of Waters with me, so that one might get done first, if he has the time to work on it. Otherwise it's whatever I'm currently in the mood for.

Edit - Since then I've also begun The Words Unspoken, Two is One, and Reaching Deep Within.

They can all be accessed from my profile (you must be logged in), where I'll post updates on them as they occur.
http://www.powertabs.net/profile.php?id=1712

If you can't access and want to see the others, let me know and I'll host those too.

2nd Edit - Crescendo of Thoughts and Castaway have also begun.
