Ok, having done this RP on another site which unfortunately closed I've wanted to restart it. not putting my charcter and start of actual RP yet, want a few responses of who may be interested. So here we go.
It's 2282. Vampires have now been known to the world for over two centuries. Since the discovery of their existance in 2021 there has been the campaigns to rid the world of them. After almost 2 decades of vampire hunting groups, support groups, government issues and disputes, Civil unrest broke out in 2042. Governments could bring no deal for vampires to be citizens without dispute, they could not make a law to make them un liable for laws without them dealing with low life to revolt.
Whilst decisions, to round up all undead and place them on one or another’s countries, were argued. World wide civil war broke out, and in that, dealings, importation and support between countries broke off. Lands of poverty such as Africa were left without support, and the vampires, with minions.
Without any level of law being abided they dealt with them, dealt them the one thing the knew they'd want, eternal life. A change from dying from AID'S and diseases from water. They were quick to except. By 2070 vampires had amounted to numbers almost equal to that of the human population. With no idea what to do, countries stopped any form of communication, sure that one of the others would deal with the undead and send them to their country. Vampires no longer hid.
Openly killing in groups, by 2105 the vampires were now feared and known all over. Numbers had rocketed with humans now being the minority, weaker, with no support of other countries, and with the ever growing fear of being killed, they hid.
Towns closed, cities now became quite at night. Windows were boarded so no light was seen in the darker hours, humans crouched in fear in groups, not knowing what night would be their last. Vampire accomadated the most buildings and the human population lived in poverty, no society or control except accasional messages pasted on walls of the politicians trying to demand acceptance. Huddling in the areas of cities that are no inhabited with vampires, streets and alleys filled with those who could not find shelter in the few places left for humans. The world is at this stage in poverty with a vampire human ratio of 3:1.
Governments are controlled by vampires, anything that goes on is ignored. Any new rules, ignored. Humans migrate to make groups, to defend. Some, turned vampire against their will stand alongside in the resistance.
“The Resistance” A last association of humans willing to stand up and fight, not willing to stand in the shadows in fear. Many different versions are around the world, some just those with a dream of hope, others grouped and trained.
Through whisper and pass of ear those on American soil know but one thing, whispered through the human ghettos, a whisper of hope. Vampires can be killed through blood line. Kill the head, you kill his line. Rumour: The first ever vampire is living in New York, guarded by numbers of vampires never seen in one single place.
New York, the worst of the world, highest in vampires, lowest in humans. A death trap to anyone who thinks to even skirt the boarders of it.
Americas base resistance for years have been training a group of killers, set to hunt and kill the most powerful leaders of the vampires. For safety they have been trained individually, have never seen each other, but must now work as a group to bring down the being of all darkness. Grouping in the centre of New York, “the city of the damned” they must plot. You are the resistance. Will you fail? Or will you manage to bring the dawn of salvation for human kind?
Vampires Can not: Fly Change shape Walk in daylight Stand silver
Can: Heal at fast rates Jump from abnormally high heights Move superhumanly fast Have extraordinary strength Can move shadows Can put humans under compulsion
Other: Must drink blood to survive Get sleepy, weaker in daylight hours, don’t “die” at dawn.

(hopefully some others join)
Her hair whiped behind her, where it fell from the helmet, as the motorbike raced through the abandoned streets of New York. Up at ridculous speed of almost 100mph you'd think that an accident would occur. Not in this day and age. Apart from this vehicle it was nearly the only sound you could hear this silence apart from the thrum of music from various clubs for vampires and the accasional scream or cry for help as a vampire found his or her next unwilling victim of the night. Even those were few, with numbers of humans getting lower they whored themselves to vampires so that being a willing doner they would not die. This was a way to survive she guessed. But was she still human she would rather die. That was the price she'd paid for standing up for life. She was now a vampire, had been for ni over a century, yet still she woker up hating her very being.
Passing down the streets she saw humans in groups hiding in the alleys, windows barred with wood, only the accasional slither of light going through. And freuqently, vampires entwined with their prey on the street. She shook her head, so many generations died these days, the young grabbed quickly, the old generations, the survivors of the community shift, left to tell the story. whilst driving she shook her head. She remembered what it was like back then, when real fear was about. As vampires began their rise. The change of attitude every where, the rejection of all. People lived in fear now, but a level of lving had been made, shelters with anything from 7 toseveral hundred now supported humans, hiden awya from vampires. Many ahd protection now, in the days when she was human their was nothing like that, people hid in their homes. and were found.
Swallowing hard she tried not to remember the night that she'd heard the vampires coming to the village. Country had been thought to be safe, that vampires only went to high populated areas, if only that had been true. The church bells had started ringing and they'd heard the screams. The village wasn't lost in one night, after 3 weeks many were still there. Scared and having lost half her family she'd waited till day. Grabbed the van in their garden and run. She made it barely 100 miles before it'd cut out. Walking at night she'd been found. The vampries had turned her.
The memory ended and she realised she'd been driving automatically. Looking at the electronic map on her bike she saw the directions to "The Resistance's" base that had been set up fro the arrival of the others. she'd lived there for nearly 2 weeks. The others had yet to arrive. Typing in the every changing code, she summoned shadows to hide the street as she drove down it, driving straight at the dead end............she passes through it. Slamming on the brakes she does a half turn to a halt so thats she's facing the entrance as she watches the 2 huge doors close. Hologram technology, ancient if anything, but with the vampries controlling technology and importation of anything "The Resistance" was lucky to have anything this good. For goodness sake they were still having to use stitches instead opin-growth. A specially formulated mixture that mimics the fleshes memory of anyones skin and heals anything in a matter of hours or days, depending on the species and injury.
Sliding off the bike she steps off the platform under her. "Vehicle 109, trek-note. Re-enrty" The platform slid out and the bike dissapeared to go to underground storage, every vehicle set to their own section. sliding out of the helmet, she walks towards a wall, supposedly a switch for lights, something so old easily looked over as trash, and opened it. Automatically a scanner took an image of her eye and with speaking took the sounds of her voice. On cue of a beep she walked through the wall, the entrance to the main hide out was top technology, involving 4th dimensions. With technology you could change where you wished to go. Without the password or the recorded persons information you would simply walk into a solid wall. With it, it shifted the dimension allowing access to the hide out. It always messed with her head suddenly facing the opposite direction to the one you were jsut walking in.
Now in the hide out she looked around. This was simply the sleeping quarters and nothing hi-tech about it. 5 Simple touch sensored beds which came out when you wished, you didn't even have automatic de-contamination, resulting in machine washing, which she had yet to learn. Her old team used to do that. At the thought she felt ehr throat constrict. Before having been sent here she had lead a team of humans, generally eahc team was meant to have atleats two vampires but despite her hate of being a vampire, she was powerful. They'd allocated her, her own. They'd been slaughtered barely 7 weeks ago. One of them had betrayed them to the vampires, she'd got there too late to save them. But on time to kill the traitor. It had killed a part of her and she now felt isolated and cold.
Glancing in the mirror she saw her eyes shifting slightly between silver and her brown. She would need blood soon, but she oculd hold out, her skin had yet to burn with the need the consumed before bloodlust took over.
Moving over the wall she selected one of the touch panels and watched the bed come out. Removing the long leather trench coat and 5 inch heeled boots, she procceeded to remove her weapons. 2 blades, such as trungeons were strapped to her thighs, with blades at eahc side of a hand it was leathel. on her two sides she had 2 semi-automatic pistols. Absolutely ancient technology, but they worked, plasma or hard set weapons didn't work on vampires, but something that old with silver or UV rounds worked just dandy on them.
lastly she removed the sword that rested down her spine. placing the 2 guns under her pillow she finally gave into the sleep taking her body as the sun began to rise. Hopefully by tommorow one of the hunters would have come to join her.

Jessica woke up at 8pm. The sun having just finished setting her body naturally woke up. She ran her hand through her long hair, slightly tassled by sleep, and walked over to a door that lead into the bathroom. Turning on the shower and waiting for the water to warm, she undressed and checked a healing cut on her thigh. A few days ago she'd been attacked by a group of vampire wannabe's. They'd had the new on market fire swords. Literally a sword that had a combination of electricity runnning through it, thus causing it to heat up. The idea was that not only did the electricity temporarily stun the nerves to prevent the wound clotting the blood instantly, but it cauterized the wound to make it slower to heal. Since vampires had started linking up with the humans to fight weapon were being made to attack them. The wound wasn't healing. It'd healed down the burnt sides leaving a slash in her leg. Sighing she went back to the bedroom leaving a swirl fo steam as she opened the door. Heading for the weapons cabinet to find a knife she heard the alert for a video call arriving. Still naked she walked across and turned on the com to see the image of the head of connections. She saw his eyes widen at the sight of her. Quickly she snapped at him "Yes! What is it?!" She wasn't phased by the look he gave that was blown on a projection screen on the wall. being over a century and having to use the vampires "fun" clubs to get information. nudity was hardly something that bothered her. As he spoke she walked over to the medical unit and grabbed a scalpel. If her leg had any chance of healing properly she would have to re-open the wound.
"Jessica Williams."
"Yes!"
"We have reached a crisis...."
she waited for him to continue. Hissing slightly as she cut the edges of th wound. blood ran thinly in a lineand hit the floor and stopped within 5 seconds. The benefits of being a vampire.
".....one of our trained members a few years back lost contact. We;ve known where he's been for some time now but have had no form of communication. However, a few of your newly recruited team have been ambushed...a...a spy has been leaking information..."
she looked up at the monitor and knew she looked pissed off "And what?! you want me to somehow do the dirty work and get into the clubs and find out who it is?"
"No. We want you to go and collect this man. He's apparently been in New York for some time now. We want you to collect him. Tonight. Over and out."
She looked at the monitor for a while a sighed. Damn it, she hated going out. What if another member came whilst she was out. Booting a tray across the room to relieve the frustration she then walked into the bathroom and stepped into the shower. Allowing the water to pound over here she wahsed her hair and the dired blood off her. Stepping out she was glad to see the injury was now pretty much sealed.
Walking through the automatic drier she was dry within 5 seconds. She slid into black jeans, a long sleeved black top stopping above her stomach with the ever present belly bar, due to metabolisms the moment she removed it. it would heal over. sliding on wrist sheaths she also placed 2 guns on her sides. Wearing knee high black boots she slipped another dagger in. She also gragged 2 razor wires slipping them in the back of her hair. Lastly she grabbed her sword and sheath and slipped the straps on her shoulders so it sat in the middle of her shoulder blades. Finally she grabbed her trench coat and left to the warehouse level.
Within 5 minutes she was watching the buildings fly past as she moved through the city. On the visor of her helmet directions to this man were shown. Every person had a tracker in them, only leaders knew that. It stopped traitors saying it to the vampires. About 2 blocks away she stopped the bike and moved by foot. Taking barely a second to scale the 5 floors to roof level where she moved over the buildings. 3 houses away she heard vampires. Looking down she saw two crowded on a woman. Her first instinct was to shoot them both, but when she saw the ladys face, pale and slack. She knew it was too late and she left them to it, despite the wrenching at her heart. Pulling at the shadows she waited 10 minutes while they left. She sensed something and she frowned, a powerful vampire was about but she couldn't tell where. Moving to the house that indicated the member of "The resistance" she found out what it was. She wasn't the only one after him this night.
Sliding down a drainpipe she saw a man with his back to the window. His front with the gun aimed at a boarded door. It wouldn't hold for long. With her hearing she could hear the slow, exaggerated steps of the vamprie coming up the stairs. Sure that the man couldn't escape. grabbing the window frame she swung herself through the window as the door and furniture slammed across the room. The man flinging himself out of the path. The battle that followed lasted barely 5 seconds. She didn't even look at the man, training kicking in she went straight for the vampire in the door way. She watched him turn in shock seeing her in the room. Taking advantage of the shock she dashed forwards, a blur of black and fiery red and pulled the sword from her spine slahing it downwards across hisface and chest. The cry was cut short as she spun on her feet and delivered a sideways blow and his head spun across the room to land near the feet of the human. Walking quickly across to him she saw him bakc away. seeing the silver of her eyes from the bloodlust rising from killing the vampire. Going to grab him she saw the blur of his hand as he tried to raise the gun and she slapped it out of his hand hearing the crack of wrist from the force. She said the only thing she could.
"Wait. I'm with the resistance. Jack O'Bannon? I'm hear to get you. We're seriously in need of you know. But you must come now, it's not safe."
She saw the hesitation in his face just before she heard the sound of vampires coming. Ignoring hsi protests she grabbed him by the front of his shirt and ran at the window not hesitating the 30ft drop to the ground. Landing lithly on her feet she set him down and forced him forwards in the direction of the bike. She wasn't about the lose someone she'd been told to protect. REaching the bike she ordered him on. Just as she saw vampires jumping out of the same window she had, she'd hit the gas, back wheel spinning she shot off into the darkness melding shadows to help lose the trail. They were heading back. It was just lucky it was a "we" not just her.

She'd felt him clinging to her shoulders, if she'd been human she'd have worried about bruising. But she wasn't she didn't have to look back to know the vampires where taking persuate. Even if here hearing hadn't picked it up the tension that wasn't releaving on her shoulders told her the man clearly wasn't feeling in his comfort zone. The bike stuttered a second as the liquid fuel ran out and solar cells kicked in. A secon latter something slammed into the side of the bike, automatic instinct, not training, the part fo a vampire alsmot animal, kicked in as the bike was knocked out from under them her foot kicked back on the seat, pulling her other leg out from being crushed, freeing her of the bike as it slid to the end of the alley. in mid-jump she flipped over to land smoothly on the car bonnet in a crouch. denting it in the middle in the process. Looking into the car she snarled, fangs showing.
A scream rent the air and she had time to turn and see a man slip back into a building. The fear only possibly being, that vampires knew where he now lived. A movement caught her attension. As the man she'd just saved stumbled up, it was a miracle he hadn't cracked his skull open with the force he'd hit the wall with. However she was unhappy to realise the situation had yet to redeem itself as he stupidly went to punch a vampire, this man was quite obviously not a trained member of "The Resistance" he was one who those like her where trained to protect. Why on earth had she been dumped with someone who had no idea how to fight? oh yer, because once again someone had betrayed them and ended with most of her new group being killed.
The hesitation was enough time for someone to come up behind her and grab her shoulder flinging her back. Flying several feet she felt the wall slam into her back. Slightly dazed she went into a defensive crouch and pulled the guns from under her coat. Walking forward she pulled the triggers seeing 3 vampires stumble backwards before starting to scream as smoke poured from the wounds and out of theirs mouths. Falling to the gorund she could see them writhing, flesh in crumbling pieces falling off the. Forget what movies had said 200 years ago. They didn't explode, it wasn't quikc and easy. Vampires did die in the sun, but it was slow, horrible and painful to the vampire and to watch. Slamming the guns into the hoslsters she pulled the sword from down the spine, the sliding of the blade making the vampire now bending over the man looking up. With all her might she fllung the sword, as you would a spear, at the face of the vampire. She saw a blur as it went to move it's head, followed by a piteous scream. The sword had missed the centre of the head but had effectively caught a ragged gash down the side of the vampires face. The vampire stood suddenly and ran with all the known speed of the undead at Jessica. dropping the sword she wrenched one of the razors wires and spun around the vampire, as it ran, and looped it around her front. The speed, unable to stop causing it the slice through the neck clearly. The momentum cuasing the body to fall forwards and the head to roll a distance. She felt sick, more at her lust for the blood still pumping out th ebody. than at the decapitated corpse.
Sighing she walked over to the man who had now managed to make it into a sitting position. Without asking she crouched down and grabbed his chin in a forceful grip. and turned his head from oneside to the other, checking his throat, letting go with almost a dismissive gesture she moved over to the sword and took it. Instead of putting it away she moved to the 3 corpses and decapitated 2 of them in one swing. The last took 2, she must just be getting tired....or weak from lack of blood. She turned back to the man and for the first time took a look at him, but not for the first time saw the look she'd seen on so many other faces. Shock, horror, disgust. She knew what they saw. A 17 year old girl, one who if thet just gave up the black and weapons would look like so many of the innocents stolen each night. What they saw was what people tried so hard to defend, in this day and age, killing. She was a killer, vampire or not. She was a killer because that was what she'd been trained to do.
She didn't make any gesture but just moved over to the car. He hadn't moved when she looked back. She took a step towards him, solid eye contact. He jumped, and she stopped. Part of the resistance or not. People always treated her with more than caution. She was first, and foremost, a vampire, and what they feared.
"Look, I don't have time to nurse your emotions right now. I'm not going to stand here and try to convince you that I'm on your side. I am. That's all I'm going to say. I'm all you have right now. So..." indicating the bike "...right now I'm going to go back to the base. I've been given orders to collect and protect you. god forbid you ever do something as stupid as trying to punch a vampire I may just knock you out and make travelling alot easier for myself. But now..." pulling up the bike and checking that none of the wires or pipes were broken "... I'm going back to base..." sliding onto the bike she started the engine "...if you know whats good for you. You'll get on and come back with me."

She watched him resign to coming with her. The wary look screamed more than what his silence did. She grinned, fangs purposely flashing, you could tell roughly how old a vampire was by that, young ones could never hide them, the older ones could, showing only hwne they had to. "Don't look so worried, I'm not about to try and bleed you." As he slipped on she heard the cry of a vampire signalling them out to the others. Someone had definatley being leaking information. Despite the large numbers of vampires there was rarely large numbers flooding after a trained hunter. She'd been sent on several collection missions when she was new to the resistance. Out of the 23 she'd only bumped into vampires on 2 occasions. True that was over a half a century ago but even now. Most nights she wouldn't actually meet face to face with a vampire. Yet alone a group. The fact that this night she'd already gotten 2 groups and actually had a pursuit of vampires on her tail. Someone knew that she was here. Being a vampire she was well known by the few vampire survivors who'd escaped her, and was known as a fiercesome killer. They were more than likely after her more than the man she had rescued.
She waited, and could feel the man tensing up behind her as he heared the vampires approaching. reaching into the front of her she grabbed 2 tele-mics. Again latest technology only one or 2 batch generations behind whats was on market now for the vampires high in society. for the human resistance to get something that good was lucky. Reaching back she handed the coin sized object back to him
"Place this on the centre of your cheek."
she knew that he wouldn't have a clue what it was. The resistance found it hard enough to keep up with what the vampires where producing. Yet alone normal humans, they didn't have half a clue. Placing the second on her own left cheek she felt the strange sensation of it as the wires slid out of it. Following the natural viens up her face an a prob went in her ear. Several others snaked down the side of her face one to the side of her mouth, whilst 5 more snaked down her neck. 3 stopping at the front near the voice box and 2 more in alternate places on her spine. She heard a slight buzzing before she caught a blank sound apart from breathing. She had contact and she also had vampires about 7 metres behind her. Slamming on the accelarator she sped forwards. Gaining speed she pulled up the front wheel as she approached the car and drove over the top. Landing on the other side she heard the howls of protest from the vampires.
She spoke barely above a whisper knowing the technology didn't require full voice level. "My names Jessica Williams." She wasn't much of a talker. considering people didn't like talking to her it was hardly a surprise. Hearing his accelerated breathing she realised he may just be hyberventilating or something. Hell she didn't know, vampires where able to stop there breathing for short periods of about half an hour if you were powerful enough. Wetting her lips she decided to try talking to him. Alright, Jessica, topic...something....any words will do. It doesn't even have to be interesting. You were the one who gave him the communicator.......For god sake woman say something to the man!!
She sighed. "Anyways.....uh."
Oh joy this was going so well. What a conversationlist. Over a century old and she couldn't even think of a way to make someone feel secure. Looking in the mirror she saw him, eyes slightly wide and his hand fiddling with the small communicator now welded to his face until you disconnected it.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you."
He jumped at the voice. She repeated it.
"The communicator, I wouldn't touch it if I were you. It has skin tappers, it means it's fitted into your skin, pulling it or fiddling with it may cause it to loosen. It'll pull all the skin out were it's set if you don't properly disconnect it properly. I knew someone once, made a right mess of his face, Thank goodness for opin-growth."
she got a "huh?" through the mic.
"don't tell me you don't know what it is? You have alot to learn lad."
Seeing the shock on his face at being referred to as a child she smiled. She wouldn'y say anything, leave him to enquire.
"We're going back to the base. I doubt we're going to be disrupted again, the sun is on the rise."
She'd been aware of this for ages and she could feel the sun rising. Her body attuned to the rise and fall of it. She bit her lip, a childish habit of worry that hadn't died over the years for her. Unfortunatly biting too hard in worry her fansg pierced the skin but was quickly healed as she ran her tongue over to collect the blood. Vampires had a healing agent in their saliva that allowed them to close small wounds.
As she started to see the red sheen of the sun hitting the many black clouds of smog covering the city she was driving down the road to the entrance of the base. Pulling in she waited for the man to dismount before she herself got off and set the bike away.

She'd been walking over to the wall which would allow her to take them both to the sleeping area when she'd heard him talking to him self. She choose to ignor it just smiling lightly with her back to him. She'd used to tease her old fighting team. Especially since she'd got a young placement of 20 there, after training most hunters were atleast 25 or older. She'd quickly got used to flirting with him, but nothign serious. You weren't allowed serious relationships if you were a hunter in The Resistance. your job was to hunt down, secure and destroy vampires. If a human got kidnapped it was not to interfere with what was at hand. She'd ignored every code and had become close to her group. It'd torn something from her when they'd been killed.
She'd heard his question and in her extended state in needing blood her hearing picked up the race of his heart realising he didn't mean it to sound the way it had. Her voice when she replied wasn't cold. It was flat, almost emotionless except for the slight sound of bitterness. "Well you know. I wake up at night, I crave and drink blood as I have done for just over a century. I dress and then I go out to kill people. Whilst having to come back and see the death of those I care for."
Pausing to open the access to the sleeping area, she turned back to him and when she spoke her voice was thick with sarcasm and now was cold "So take your opinion, how do you think this sort of life treats anyone who doesn't wish to live?"
She snarled silently at him, the bloodlust rising, having been denied for days, before spinning the long coat whirling around her and she walks through the wall. The slight disorienation of suddenly walking the other direction is only slight before she walks across the floor. Her feet making audible sound, not making any effort to walk smoothly and silent as the undead could. She heard a gasp behind her and turned to see the man having walked through, now holding his stomach lightly looking a bit green. It did take a little while to get used to the disorientaiton. Luckily being a vampire she had no solid to bring back up.
Whilst looking at him she got a full chance to assess him, his body was hardly great, little muscle and he was badly nutritioned. but then alot of humans were now, without reliable sources of food coming. Or even standard crop growth. Vampires ruled, and vampires didn't need food. His clothes, much as others in hiding, were well worn and most likely hadn't been washed for a while, but then when you're running from vampires you don't really care too much. After having taken a good look at him the anger at him felt misguiuded. Hunting vampires often led to stress or pent up anger.
Exhaling slowly she walked over and again he jumped. Placing her hand on his cheek she applied pressure on the communicator. It reccedded into itself and fell away. Turning round she turned off the access to the room so no-one else could enter. walking back into the main part of the room she removed her own communicator as she went to the weapons table. She slid off her coat and hung it over the chair. Removing the guns she popped the clips out and placed them down, sliding the 2 knives from her leg she also placed them down. Careful not to cut herself she removed the final razor wire from her hair, cursing hersefl for having left the other one at the last fight.
Walking in silence she see's he still hasn't moved, standing just inside the entrance looking around, and twisting his fingers nervously. Going to the storage section she orders a water and some food. Direct from main storage, atleats they had the nutrient protien food substitutes. Most people didn't even know what real meat tastes like, animal breeding gets noticed so quickly. The gorwth substitute had been found out near the 21st century. Fungi food subtitute those who didn't eat meat had it. Now you either had that or the company sludge. pretty much a liquid with no flavour that you could make into almsot anything. What he had seemed to be a steak substitute with re-hydrated peas and an actual potatoe. As the best needed hunters they managed to get fresh food like that. Hopefully something like that may help the man put on some seriously needed weight if they were going to train him. Might even be the first time he's tried original food and not reconstituted rations. That contained nothing natural, just grown nutrients.
"This is for you"
She didn't talk much and then walked into another wall to cloth and medicine storage. Looking at the computer base that had recorded himas he came it gave her the clothes that would fit him. Moving back through the wall which actually placed her back in the main room on a different wall, 4 dimensional travel was never reliable, made him jump. But she was glad to see he was sitting eating. If not looking a little strangely at an un processed potatoe. God education down to literally nil, just what parents said, and food barely exiting it was hardly surprising. Some people she'd met had been living in the same damn building for 2 generations of people.
Walking over she placed a pair of black combats and a black tank top on the table. She also handed over a cargo belt. which contained one or two basic things such as opin-growth for small cuts, UV torch, a razor wire etc. Probably not wise when he was cautious of her but she had to give trust to gain it, or some rubbish like that she'd been taught.
Moving away she indicated the direction to the bathroom area. There was 2 but since an eletrical surge the 4d transport system wasn't letting them back there. The one she indicated was just a simple touch sensor door. Once it felt motion on the other side it locked. She left him to walk over to her own bed to lie down and placed the keyboard on her bed infront of her as the screen was projected in mid air. She'd wait till he was settled before she herself went to sleep.

She watched him through the projected screen as he moved around the room having finished the room. He already looked a little less pale but he had yet to change into his clothes. She looked back at the keyboard and typed away a second before she heard him ask her why she'd come to him.
She clenched her jaw a second to stop her from snapping at him, she guessed she deserved the frosty tone, despite her best efforts she'd saved him in near silence and only spoken bare words to him. The way you'd maybe treat a dog that you didn't want but oculdn't bring yourself to kill.
She looked up and despite the calm expression on her face the eyes gave away the cold killer she could be. She didn't answer question often, most people knew better. She hated the life she had to live yet alone telling others about it.
"Because I was told to." She paused "Because I didn't have an option to not do so." sighing "Because it's my job to help the resistance."
She heard him standing there, could here his breathing. Looking up she saw that he was staring at the ground his hands clasped in front of him. His shoulders showed a defeat. Only in that moment did she realise why he'd asked. He knew what he was, weak, a human. He didn't understand why he was here. And she'd just confirmed what he'd quite obviously been thinking. He wasn't here with any use.
Cursing herself in her head she slid into a sitting position on the edge of the bed. Her hair sliding in a curtain around her face and torso. Hiding her expression. She wasn't in a mood with him, she was always angry, at the world at vampires, at traitors like the one who killed her group and just this night her newest team. Turning her head to look at him, her hair falling around her face giving her a feral look, she sighed and managed a small smile at ehr own indignaty of being of a century and not being able to driect her emotions at the right people. "I was told to bring you here," pausing she decided just to tell him straight "because I'm a trained hunter of the resistance, this place" indicating the room "was built for a large group of others trained to take down the oldest, most powerful vampire known. If we kill him, there would have been a chance to rid the world of vampires, once and for all." she swallowed and looked around before managing to continue " A while ago someone betrayed my team, I....I came back to find them slaughtered. Tonight I'd heared some had leaked information and the new team had somehow got kiled. I was told about you, told to collect you, being the only person who is in actual contact with us sometime in his life. You're apparently all I have to work with in this damn mission." She stood up and started pacing "I've sometimes not wanted a human joining my team, I was told to collect you. I didn't know there would be vampires there, but had I not been in such a need for people I would have left you there for them. I don't have a problem with you, unless you get on my bad side. I need space, I'm not used to company. My last team was my family, and it was a human, not a vampire, a human that betrayed them. So don't expect to be hugely welcome."
Moving back to his clothes to give them to him. "But seeing we're going to be stuck together for a while you may aswell get comfortable. The shower is over there," indicating the bathroom "dress into these clothes atleats their clean. And then go to sleep. I sleep through the day next setting we'll begin seeing if I can actually make somethign out of you." Walking abck to her section she turned back and said "Oh and when you come back and find me asleep don't have any ideas. The best technology is here to defend us in our sleep. The only thing you'll succeed in doing ios pissing me off. And you don't want that."

She'd sat at her computer, looking up the latest finds on vampires and hide outs from "The Resistance". She was eager to know if any information had come up about her team. but as of yet nothing had appeared. They were looking into it, she sent a message out to all connected computers to see if the people, sub hunters, normal defencers, could find anything out.
She watched as he walked out in a towel and picked up the pile of clothes, he didn't even look at her. She briefly wondered how old he was, wether he'd lived in the city all his life. Things she'd learnt from her old team, their entire lifes almost. when you were stuck underground in hiding for days on end you got to know each other.
Reading the screen a few minutes later she heard a light puff, most sound muffled by the steel door and wall between her and the man. But it was indistinguishable as the compressed fire gun. A man, or rather vampire, desinged weapon. Encoorprating nuclear design they'd changed a basic chemical to make the firts ever chemical that reacts with the air so sponatneously. A curse later followed by smashing glass had her standing in less than a second, striding over to the door whilst hearing a string of very imaginative string of curse words follow it. She leaned close to the door and could hear heavy breathing and muttering. About to ask what was wrong she heard him hit the floor. Then more scuffling the light tinkling of glass told her that something had smashed. What got her though was the strong, metallic smell of blood that was wafting through the air vent.
He'd cut himself bad for it to be that strong. She slammed her palm on the door, with him moving around in there she couldn't open the door from out here. Damn privacy settings. "Open this door! " Silence and shuffling "I'm not joking! Open this door now!". She wasn't getting anything. Cursing she moved back into the main room and shuffled through her desk. Normally obeyed automatically she'd never really needed the master card to get anywhere. But she didn't need to be over 100 to understand what he'd be thinking. That she'd see the blood and ravish him. Maybe saying abit about herself would be a good idea to put the poor mans heart at rest. Before she barged in she called out once more "This is the last time I'll ask open the door now!" Snarling lightly to herself she moved the sensor pannel and swiped the card through the door hissing open automatically. Her vision instantly took in the bathroom. The bathroom mirror had smashed, briefly she wished she'd got cma screen instead, it never broke. The pipe as well as the canisted had been flung on the surface she thanked that the canister had been yanked out the belt. Otherwise the whole room would have gone up in flames, human and all. Glass littered the floor and blood was over the white so much that it was almost puddles. Flecks of it covered the wall of the shower as he'd obviously tried to wash the blood off, the human was curled up in a fetile position pushing against the wall to get away from her. A thin trail of blood was curling with the water as it flowed down the drain. She cursed, he was bleeding profusely, and she doubted that he was about to let her near him willingly, atleast not in this state of mind.
She said his name and he looked at her, without hesitation or remorse she flung her mind into his. She hated vampire compulsion, but he needed help as wasn't about to let her give it. What she found was frightening, this man had a naturally strong barrier round his mind, as vampries had against each other, not quite as strong he was still human, she fodun it more difficult to enter his mind. It was completely wild, sheer terror was overriding this man. His heart was working too fast pumping his precious blood quicker from his body. His lungs moving to quickly and not enough oxygen getting in he was in dnager of hyperventilating. She slowed his breathing with a whispered command and calmed his heart to the slow steayd beat of hers. Clearing as much fear she released his mind and walked over. He jumped but was calmer.
Wrapping her hand around his upper arm she lifted him to standing with complete easy, despite the dead weight of his limbs refusing to move and his height being almost a foot taller. He instantly attempted to shove her off, struggling weakily at her hand before somehow managing to get a badly aimed if not sufficient hit to her cheek. instantly she obliged in letting go attempting to not slap the man senseless. As soon as she relinquished her grip his legs buckled and he landed flat on his back side on the floor causing more blood to run from the substancel gash on his chest. He attempted to struggle up and, from what she assumed was merely a moment of sheer weakness, his hand flew out to get a hold of something to support him. When his hand smacked hers he held it in a death grip and didn't recoil backwards. Slipping several times he finally managed to stand and instantly let go of her. To help she turned off the shower, moving slowly not wanting to startle him. She moved to the back of the bath room and guided him forwards not touching, just backing him up slowly so that he moved out of the bathroom. once out he seemed to get more confident and tried to quickly move to the bedroom area she stood still and watched. She was trying to be nice, but her stillness and silence would have seemed like a predator watching it's prey, patience. He kept backing up slipping accasionally on the mixture of water running off his clothes and the blood making a steady stream down the black, glistening, as his heart once again increased it's tempo. She could hear the music of it.
After almost 5 minutes of him slowly inching his way there he found the bed, hers being the only on there. He tried to reach for it to obviously sit down, the loss of blood causing him to collapse on it. Rolling over enough to get some air in. His eyes were closed and the white sheets instantly turned clear with water and red spread from his clothes and the wound across them from where he'd rolled over.
She walked over to him, slow silent steps. Despite her hate to drink blood, her body still looked at it as what she needed. She never drank from the team, or humans in general if she oculd help it. But her body was still that of a predator. As she walked past the table with medical equipment her hand reached out. barely a change from where it was at her hip and pulled a scalpel off the edge of it. He was too weak to do anything, even fight her. but she wasn't going to allow him to die.
She reached the bed and she sat on the edge before pulling her legs under herself. Curled like a cat next to him. his eyes were closed, his breathing shallow but he wasn't past help. She gave him a light shake. He didn't respond. Using the new found path to his mind she whispered his name, his eyes fluttered open. Talking aloud she explained.
"You've lost too much blood, I can help you. No turning, just heal the wound. But I won't do it unless you trust me. Unless you say you're sure." She saw his eyes roll back and his eyes close. He was too close to dying. She was impatient and gave him a quick slap to bring him back "What will it be?"
