I saw pigsandcats vote for what Fan Fic she should write, so I decided to write a Warrior Cats fiction in response to what you should write, pigsandcats!


PROLOGUE

Lightningkit opened his eyes for the first time. It was a sunny day in new-leaf, and he wanted to play with his friend, Thunderkit. "Finally you've opened your eyes, Lightningkit!" said Thunderkit happily. "Now we can go out and play!" "Now wait, Thunderkit." said Thunderkit's mother, Dawnleaf. "He can't go out just yet. He needs to look perfect! Isn't that right, Talonclaw?" Talonclaw was Lightningkit's mother. "Please?" Lightningkit begged. "Fine, but one minute!" Talonclaw licked and licked Lightningkit clean. "Okay, lets go, Lightningkit!"

Thunderkit bounded over to the Nursery entrance, only to be knocked over by Cloudfeather, Lightningkit's father, only to be followed by Jayfur, who was Thunderkit's father. "Hey! Watch it!" Thunderkit squealed at them. "Oops! Sorry, Thunderkit!" apologized Jayfur. "Here, we got you two something!" Cloudfeather threw a little moss ball at Lightningkit and Thunderkit. "Moss? We want to go adventuring! Isn't that right, Lightningkit?" Lightningkit was too busy playing with the moss ball.

"Liiiggghtttninnngggkiiiitt!" said Thunderkit angrily. "We're supposed to be adventuring, remember?" he explained. "Sorry, Thunderkit. It's just so fun! We're going now, okay, Talonclaw?" he said. "Okay, be careful, you two!" said Dawnleaf and Talonclaw at the same time. They were members of LightningClan. "Y'know, Lightningkit, your lucky your named after the Clan! I wish I was named after it! It would be called ThunderClan!" said Thunderkit. "Ha! That sounds stupid! LightningClan sounds WAY better!" "Does not!" "Does too!" "Does not!" "Does too!" Then the two kits bounded at each other in a play fight. "Rawr! I'm from DarkClan! I'll destroy LightningClan!" said Thunderkit in a funny voice.

"Well I'm a LightningClan warrior, and you'll never defeat us! Rawr!" said Lightningkit. They playfighted for a while, but then Thunderkit got hurt. "Ow! I hurt my paw!" said Thunderkit. "Sorry, Thunderkit! I really am!" apologized Lightningkit. "Just kidding!" yelled Thunderkit, who pounced on Lightningkit. They were playing for hours on end, playing tag with Leafkit, Rainkit and Woodkit. It was night, and they were all tired. "Good night, Leafkit, Rainkit, Woodkit and Thunderkit!" said Lightningkit. "Good night!" they said back. They all fell asleep, dreaming about being Warriors and playing all day long.

CHAPTER 1

It was finally Lightningkit and Thunderkit's Apprentice ceremony! "Let all cats old enough to catch they're one prey, join here under the Lightning Rod for a clan meeting!" yelled Sorrelstar, leader of LightningClan. "Lightningkit, Thunderkit, come up please." Lightningkit and Thunderkit walked up to the top of the Lightning Rod. "My warrior ancestors, I call down upon you to look at these kits. They are at the age of 6 moons old, and are ready to be apprenticed. Lightningkit, from this day on you will be known as Lightningpaw. Your mentor will be Woodpelt. Woodpelt, pass down all the skills you learned from your former mentor, Talonclaw, to this young apprentice." "I will." Woodpelt agreed. "Thunderkit, from this day on you will be known as Thunderpaw. Your mentor will be Roseviolet. Roseviolet, will you pass down all the skills you learned from me to this young apprentice?" "I will." "You are now both apprentice's. Your training will begin tomorrow at dawn. This Clan Meeting is over."

"Roseviolet and Woodpelt, can we go tell the kits about our apprenticeship?" asked Thunderpaw. They nodded in return. "C'mon, Lightningpaw! Let's go!" Then they ran off to the Nursery to tell the kits!" Then they ran off toward the Nursery. :kid:

chapter one is pretty cool :) did you draw that cover? it's very nice.

No I didn't. I'm planning on drawing one, though. I've been doing homework and stuff lately for assessments, so it's taking me long to write the story. :kid:

sounds cool! i don't know how to post my art here, but if i ever do, i'll totally post it! it stinks, but i'll post it anyway!
