Can a Poopie be fixed like the Original Furbys?

Loona - October 11, 2011 03:58 PM (GMT)

maybe you could do a trade with someone who sees them more often and who could buy one for you - you could possibly offer Furbies in return. you never know, someone else may be "crowded" with fakes and (s)he may be searching for a particular coloured Furby you may have.
(I can't offer my help because I have never seen a fake here in Hungary :( but if once I will, I promise to have you in mind and buy it ^_^ )

Hm...I think that were only lucky chances for me^^
I think the most fakes are still in America or in GB, you just have to look always for them...the same as for normal furbys...here in Germany there are always just the "boring" ones...never furbys of the sixth or seventh generation and if you see one with neon eyes, you are REALLY lucky <.<

Because I now only collect the ones with neon eyes, I have to buy my furbys nearly every time in America (high shipping costs -.-)
The most beautiful furbys that I have are from America...I think that are more than 50% of all my furbys (I have ca. 70 furbys)...

But another partiality I have for the fakes with arms and legs and if I see one, I am mostly ready to spend very much money to get my hands on them...for the last purby I bought I had allowed for spending maximal 40 Euro, but I got him for only 13 Euro or so^^

The only exception for german ebay was once as I was so really lucky and saw a generation 8 puppy dog furby on german ebay...spanish-speaking and with silver eyes^^ I bought it...but the seller was a very mean guy who lied to me and told me that I still had not sent the money to him although I did 2 days after the auction had ended -.- In the end I only got the furby nearly one month (!) after that auction and this although the seller lived in the same town like I do -.-#
I left a negative comment for that seller and he banned me, so that I can never buy at him again...very sad for now he has paypal (then he could never lie to me that he didnīt get the money...) and once I saw that he was offering a grey coobie T_T

aww, I hate sellers like that... they just don't seem to see that they (more or less) depend on the buyers, so they should at least be nice to them, because if buyers are not satisfied they will choose not to buy from them again, and that means their stuff won't be bought and they won't get money... (okay, your case is a bit different, but this is my basic opinion on rude sellers)
once I had a somewhat similar (though not the same) experience: I wanted to buy a book and I found it at someone, however the cover seemed to be damaged at a place (it had a white part which was obliously not there in the original cover picture - it could have been a tearing or a bleach) - I couldn't decide because the picture was just too small, so I chose to ask. first I only asked about the condition in general and about whether he could make a pic with higher quality. he (already in a bad manner) told me that the book's ok and no pic is needed. so I asked again, this time mentioning that I have already seen the original cover and that part seems to be strange, that's why I ask - if he says it isn't (it could have been the camera flash for example - but it didn't seem to be that) it's ok, but still I would really like to have a better pic (here I should mention I always ask in a really good manner, always say hello and always thank the seller for the answer in advance - I already experienced situations where I feel I had been given advantage - a discount, for example - just because I asked in a good manner and not like "will buyit fo' halfa' price, dang" - so bad manners couldn't have been the problem). he wrote no, and about 5 minutes later he wrote another (really rude) message telling me I'm (won't write it O__O ) and I only want to tease him because in the pic it is clearly visible that the book is flawless. I got really angry and wanted to write him back that he has no right to say such things, and I was only asking, but I couldn't, because he banned me  it was almost 2 years ago, he still has the book for sale by the way. it may have turned out that it's not a tear or a flaw and he could be happy with my money if he wasn't so lazy to take a pic to prove he's right (which is quite suspicious btw), but no, I would not want to buy from someone like this... :P

anyways (sorry for the long half-off-topic), don't you have a friend who could bid for you? or someone from here, and it could be organized (you could send him/her the money, (s)he could pay for the seller and tell him that the pack should be sent to another address - yours).

TalkingToyCollector - October 14, 2011 05:22 PM (GMT)
Loona I will never trade my Furbies. They mean too much to me.

Loona - October 14, 2011 05:33 PM (GMT)
oh, I see :)
but the option of someone buying one for you and then you pay for it instead of trading is still open :)

TalkingToyCollector - October 27, 2011 02:03 AM (GMT)
I wish. I am not allowed to give my address out unless it's on eBay.

rimmu - November 11, 2011 07:23 AM (GMT)
