Did you ever hear what I told you?
Did you ever read what I wrote you?
Did you ever listen to what we played?
Did you ever let in what the world said?
Did we get this far just to feel your hate?
Did we play to become only pawns in the game?
How blind can you be, don't you see?
You chose the long road, but we'll be waiting...

Wow. What is up with the coding on this site? It appeared fine on TO... :'(

Tell me if it's unreadable, but otherwise I'm too lazy to try to fix it.

Tau Online runs on a different host than we do, so some of the codes are different. It looks fine to me.

One shot, your lists look good. The only 2 things that I would recomend is that you group 2 of the obliterators togeather in your 1000 point list the some times a second las cannon shot can make all the difference against a tank, and adding in some personal icons for your plague marine squads, in a recent game against a friends marines i managed to win because of my terminators and obliterators deep striking on the objective thus drawing fire from his other units that would have been better else where.

Why would 2 obliterators in the same squad help? Here's how I look at it:

If you have them in the same squad:
They have to shoot at the same target, and I think the same weapon? Though I'm not sure.

If one dies, the other needs to take a LD test.

It is possible for one squad to kill both Obliterators in one round of fire.

If you have them in separate squads:
They can fire at the same target with the same weapon if they want to, but they don't have to.

If one dies, so what?

One squad needs to attack one squad - meaning you can't lose 2 obliterators to one squad, they'd need two squads or some way to target a different squad (Like Crisis Suits and Target Locks)

I don't see any reason to combine the squads?

Anyway, as for the personal icons...I had no idea I could take them with the Plague Marines? I thought they were instead of a mark. Now, I realize I can, so I definitely will. Do you think just one squad should have it, or all of them?

You don't have to use the same weapon, and with one squad of 2 you can always have a second shot at a target if you need it, two seperate squads could have los blocked to the same target.

no need for LD test if one dies because they are fearless.

posible for one squad to kill both obliterators with one squad yes, but unlikely, my friend had to target my 2 obliterators with most of his army to take them out in one round of shooting, in fact the only things that did not shoot at the obliterators either did not have los.

I have found that obliterators on their own cannot bring enough fire to bear on infantry units and are not resiliant enough to stand up to the amount of fire that they atract.

you should take at least 3 Icons, when possible, incase you face an iquisitorial army with a vindicare assassin, a wise foe will take out your ability to land where you want with deep strikers.

Although, Apocolypse, the thing is, if one obliterator kills it's target (which is highly likely) then what's the other one going to do?

I could just put the two very close to each other, but not in the same squad, so that they have the same (or very similar) LOS's.
