NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO C.C!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto.

It still remains to be seen if she has even forgotten her greatest love...Cheese-kun. If so, the world of CG is truly a cruel and inhuman place.

Oh, and hurray for amnesia induced fanservice! ninja.gif

The second season is interesting. Lelouch is getting isolated and is about to go emo! jk.

But seriously, all the girls that knew him fairly well are unavailable.

Code Geass is a pretty good series. I've never been one for mecha anime, never a big Gundam fan or anything. However, this series is intriguing as it delves into philosophy, politics, and moral conundrums. At the same time it still has fun with comedic escapades from time to time. The battles are also pretty good.

Has anyone been keeping up with season 2? Because I just finished watching episode 19 and it left me wondering what the fuck they'll be doing for the last 6 episodes in the season. The season looks like it could be finished in two or three episodes, so I was wondering what people think the next twist they introduce to finish up the last few episodes. I personally think it will have to do with C2's code.

Or what happened to Marianne and how C.C. could communicate with her even after death...

Not that C.C. is still around to even say anything.

I doubt she'll get her code OR memories back. However, I also wouldn't like Lelouch to get the code. Immortality would ruin him. Suzaku on the other hand...well, I'd fucking laugh my ass off if by some twist of fate he wound up quite litterally unable to die.

Wow, episode twenty was awesome. I can't wait for the rest of this season to come out.
Episode twenty reveals that Anya is in fact being possessed or something by Marianne (Lelouch's "dead" mother), which explains Anya's gaps in memories, and has a fully matured Geass that she got from C2 (This might be what lets her possess Anya). Also, the Knight of One may have a Geass that is under his stitched shut eyelids. And to top off the episode, Lelouch has trapped himself inside the Sword of Akasha with the Emperor.
I especially liked the little bit of latin in the preview of the next episode. "Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch’intrate". For those who do not know what this means, or are to lazy to look it up, the phrase translates to "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here".

Yeah, let's go all Dante to up the drammatic effect! ninja.gif

But yeah, the episode was pretty surprising - I didn't see THAT coming at all.
Anyway, it's good to see that C.C is back from her little trip to moe land, no matter how much lulz that ended up being. A witty and devious C.C beats the green-haired moe girl any day of the week. Oh, and Cheese-kun is also back in full force!

Sure, there may be shit exploding left and right - with Suzaku going batshit insane again, Nina going uber catatonic emo, Lelouch being in suicide bomber mode, freaky CG porno pillars spiralling towards the heavens, and alliances crumbling almost as soon as they're formed - but since those two are back again, I can't really focus and those "petty matters" as good ol' Charles would put it. I'll just see how things play out, but as long as C.C and Cheese-kun make it through the day, I'll probably be happy.

...And talking about Charles, whenever that guy screams his "RURUSHI" in his constipated and unique way, I always get shivers and goosebumps. It just freaks me out, makes me want to punch something. mellow.gif

I basically hated episode 19 because I figured that by the end, Lelouch had given up and was ready to bend over for the world to continue raping him. I mean, he's so caught up in his lies, instead of letting out the truth, he'd rather continue lying to martyr himself. I guess that is like him though.

Twenty brings the whole series back for me though. I keep wondering what'll happen when Marianne finds out Nunnally is dead...and I wonder if they'll pull some BS and have Nina "reverse" the death weapon to bring everyone back to life for some sort of happy ending...
