any ways, sorry for my long off time and disappearance, but boot camp and training has taken me away for a long time. Going to Ewakuni for 2years in about 3 weeks. So off to Japan for me hope to be more active once I reach there but for now this little gem.

I read it for something to keep me occupied, but I sort've lost interest somewhere along the line. Can't remember what chapter, as it was a while ago, but I didn't really think this was anything too great even from the beginning.

I was looking forward to more after that chick nearly got raped, because Shinji was pretty rad in that scene - and the ones leading up to it - but then he got called to Tokyo 3 and had to pretend to be a faggotish wimp again. I think.

Wimp!Shinji can be a good plot point, but it just grated on me in this fic. I dunno, might be mixing two or three together, lulz. Been a while since I've found any good Eva fics.

The fic is pretty awesome, but at some points just seemed way too over the top in trying to be cool. Sometimes I wanted to say "You're trying too hard" in some scenes when someone was shown as badass. The nicknames that the Evangelions were given seemed kinda lame. Honestly, the characterization was sometimes a bit shaky, especially the whole cult like thing that was going on. Another thing I was never clear on was if the voices were real or if Shinji was just crazy. 4/5 for still being awesome.

Well Narf I thank you for you honest review. what might make it click better is if you read some of the war hammer 40k stuff or even play some of the games. It may make it easier to understand it.

This is the fic which opened my eyes to the greatness which was Warhammer 40000.
