Just read it and Ulquiorra still defends the position of my favorite Bleach male character

[spoiler]Basically, he pawns Ichigo around with ease. The number really seem to indicate the strength and not just the time of birth. He's also ranking 4th, so that means he's stronger than Ichigo's archenemy Grimmjow. The whole scene was strangely remeniscent of his first fight with Byakuya. I somehow smell a coming training arc...

[Spoiler]Still, I bet this is when Ichigo makes the breakthrough on maintaining his Hollow mask for a longer period of time; that and Nell will probably have to barf all over him to heal him.

As I see it, Ichigo is at the limit of his endurance, and Ulquiorra is not even the strongest of the opponents that he has to face, so something has to happen to even the score up a bit. Rukia is already out for the count, Renji looks to be in some deep shit, Chad is almost finished and Ishida is probably lost.

Reaffirms how much better Tito is than Kishi...

[SPOILER]He is willing to forcibly take his characters down a peg or two, and let them face defeat. Only person Kishi has let see defeat out of the main characters is Sasuke vs Gaara and Sakura vs Ino, and Team 7 vs Orochimaru. Everything else is normally a tie. Or a tie with a slight win on the 'hero's' side.
I just wonder if it is a training arc, or if he has another inner confrontation, like he had when he fought Zaraki Kenpachi. I can easily see his inner hollow come out and kick his ass around this inner world for a bit. Up to two or three chapters of it, though I see hints as to what the others are doing in the meantime.[/SPOILER]

Bout time, looks like the Hueco Mundo arc is ending and moving on to the destruction of Karakura Town. I think we will finally get to see Isshin, Ryuken and Urahara go ape shit.

All we know is that Nel rocks and Ichigo got his ass handed to him by someone that Kenpachi beat, makes me wonder about Ken's defeat in the SS arch.

As far as I remember, the Ichigo/Kenpachi fight was more a battle of power rather than skill. Noitora required skill to beat because he was on a somewhat equal footing in reiatsu terms, thus the whole 'strike you down with almighty kendo!' thing.

I don't know about you guys, but I thought the latest chapter was full of win. I am just waiting for Isshin to make an appearance. Though, I am having some problems with the timeline.

So, 100 years before the manga started Urahara was appointed as Captain. Didn't Urahara flee Soul Society about 100 years before the manga started? How long was he captain then? 3 years? I always figured Urahara was around for a long time as Captain since he is so well known, was the 1st president of the science thing, created so much shit, etc.

Also, I brought this up months ago. Last weeks chapter, ONCE AGAIN, Kubo is afraid of killing off any protagonist. All the bad guys die and the good guys that we are led to believe died are still alive.
