…to have the server looping through each map one after the other instead of having 2 or 3 maps playing over and over again?

I believe so but most tend to do the same map a couple of times, say the best out of three. Teams take turns between forces.

Yeah, I don't know why it does that, but I'm never online to have a look!

Its no problem.

Using the BF2Rcon gizmo, you can change the number of rounds a map will play.

At the moment, its set to 3, which is probably a default setting for the server.

Anyhoo, its easy to change it on the fly.

Most ranked servers set it to 2 rounds so that players will play the map as each side before it fires up the next one in the rotation.

If anyone wants it changed, or indeed anything else (like the current map, the ability to use different views when flying, etc), let me know and it will be changed in 2 seconds flat.

Heres my list

Allow different views - this is important when using helo nose gun - default view blocks the ground!

Allow 2 rounds per map - and force team change.

Allow more maps - i think were getting the hang of it now - is wake 2007 possible? its fantastic for Air and land - massive open sky for dog fights. and land battles are aways conducted on a narrow front except at the airfield. loads of oppertunity for flying, tanking, snipering and all other kits.

EU forces is good, despite the unpalatable thought of an EU armed forces.

Whats that tank one too.....armoured something, thats got some good maps. operation road rage or whatever.

Armoured Fury

Its pants compared to the EU one, there you get different Kit weapons as well as different Vehicles.

On the Armoured Fury its basically three new maps and two new jets and 2 new helo's

Looking at this thread... Maybe we need to see which vers of BF everyone has got and see about bringing everyone up to the same, ie SF/EU Force. Then getting the NEW server to play with all of the maps? Then we can play the EU Army (God that does sound depressing...... ) as well as the scepitcs/rag heads/chinks, I only have BF2 at the moment, but I am in two minds to get the extra's. Probably order them for Amazon as I prefer to have discs.
