I am wondering if your clan would interested in fighting out with many other clans in a mature and controlled environment?

This is what we got going. We are brand new and could use your support.

- Maps are different every battle and are highly customized/modified
- Players use logistics and commit forces to a battle based on what they have at their disposal.
- Meet other players and play along side them. Possibly meet new members for your clan.
- Optional Tournament with a cash prize.
- Play in an ongoing war theatre that you affect and change.
- Follow a military ranking system where true team players are well rewarded.
- All matches have a referee to make sure there is no foul play.
- Play for free. Funded by optional donations and tournament fees.
- BF2 Strat is a non-profit organization.
- So much more is going on here.

Bf2 Strat is not a clan, but rather will be a affiliation of many clans. We have worked very hard here to build something to enhance the clan community. Please have a look and give me your thoughts.

All we ask is at least try out one scheduled battle time.

New companion mod

Here at BF2 Strat we just designed a companion mod that will allow all active players in the BF2 Strat league to personalize a skin of you choice for unranked servers.

Once your score reaches 1000, you will have this privilege. This score can be reached in one battle time or more.
If you know a good skinner, you can even get your face added to one of the kits or get your favorite vehicle a new look. Get a skin you like from an existing mod or get one custom made. I personally will add this to our custom companion mod and these will be visible at all BF2 Strat battles. This companion mod gets updated every time you download a modified map.

I can just imagine what a 7 member active clan can do to all 7 kits. Maybe we will have women fighting along side us one day.

This companion mod will not interfere in any way with the vanilla mod. Some call it a mini mod.

Some rules on skin design.
1) They need to be appropriate and non sexual in nature.
2) They need to maintain your armie's flag like the current kits/vehicles.
3) They need to follow the existing frames/skeletons.
4) They can't be the enemy skins.
5) Members with the highest personal score get priority on the kit/vehicle.
6) If you become inactive for a long period of time, you skin will be removed from the mod.
7) You can't become invisible
8 ) It is recommended that you don't glow like a light bulb.
9) Only one custom skin per player.

This companion mod will also allow us to add armies from all over the world.
I added the russian army skinned by Ajacks in our Behbehan_Valley.zip map for those who don't believe me.

We are also looking for skinners who feel up to the challenge and help our members look personal.

Next Battle

We have some scheduled battles someone from your clan might want to sit in on.

Sunday, Oct 1st at 1800hrs (6PM) US Central.
Tuesday Oct 3rd at 1800hrs (6PM) US Central.

We are starting up 2 more armies and we need your feedback/votes in our Polling Station on which scenerios we should statup.
These new armies will cater to European time schedules

Hmmmm... so a bit like Enemy Down but with a hell of a lot more stuff?

Sounds like a great idea - I'm sure some of the staff here would like to give this a go.

It's a go from me; I'll check out the site in full tomorrow when I've had sleeeeeeeeeeeppp...

I recommend you just join as a Mercenary so you can vote for what the next two armies added for the Euro time zone. This way you can sit in on any battle until I have the new armies up and running. Also, it gives you guys time to decide where you want to be as a clan.

I will add Manaro and TartanTerror with Mercenary rights. That way you can vote for the next armies for europe. Let me know if I missed anyone.

update

Thanks for polling those next armies. I am still waiting for more votes though before finally deciding on the conflict. Hopefully I can start setting up these armies soon.
