I agree that we need a variety of maps to appeal to all, however choosing too many at once doesn't give people time to learn the layouts, and the associated strategies and tactics.

Keep it varied, and make significant changes weekly?

Also...

Reading between the lines, we could do with a poll to know how many members have which versions of BF2.

I have BF2, Special Force (SF), Armored Fury (AF), and Euro Force (EF)

Sorry m8, I havent been keeping an eye on this 'ere thread, so apologies for the server map rotation and the view settings. I set the view stuff so that you can ditch the cockpit graphics every time I'm on the ARRSE server, but it often gets rebooted and the default settings kick in (I've got no access to those). If I'm not on, the view defaults to the full cockpit. its the same for the map rotation too, reboots reset the rotation to the 3 or 4 maps that are in the map rotation file at the server end.

All will be fixed when we get our spinky new server tho.

Yeah, a quick vote would be a damn good idea, just to get a feel for the numbers of add-ons we have.

I've got AF and EF boosters, might get SF one of these days, but for now, I'm dieing quite nicely in BF2
