Cool! My girlfriends are all into the Vampire shows or other trashy series type shows, which I don't care for, but they keep telling me there's all these hot guys on the show I just turn on Metal Mania on vh1 ~ it's like porn for chicks haha the song "Naughty, Naughty" just came on... anyway I watch that or the science ch, natgeo, or history cos I really dig those shows about space, the universe, or geology. I can't wait to go to the Grand Canyon next year! I'm taking a course that studies the different layers and time periods. And we get to dig for fossils! I really want to hike that canyon!

I used to watch Metal Mania on VH1 ALL of the time!!

I forgot about that show Metal Mania!! The only t.v. series I watch every week is "The Office" other than that I enjoy anything music related esp. concerts & live performances...do you get that Palladia channel SSM? (the concert channel ) I really enjoy that, I have seen alot of "classic" stuff on there

I also like documentaries, Indie stuff... I really like discovery, history channel too! I'll usually watch something more educational over anything else...but I like stupid sh*t too!! LOL Just depends what I'm in the mood for...I fall asleep alot while watching t.v.

I actually wanted to check out some of these Vampire series (but kinda forgot they existed ) I do that all the time, "Oh, that looks interesting...." I liked that series "Angel" w/ David Boreanaz I may like them if they aren't too "teeny~boppish" in nature...

That sounds Awesome!! SSM, I would absolutely LOVE to go to the Grand Canyon...there are SO many places that I'd like to see! A friend of mine has a degree in Archaeology, that would be so fascinating to "dig-up" fossils & ancient artifacts!! K & I were just at the Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology in August. I have some Great pics of our trip there on my GL profile page....

Hey we should all meet up and do the day hike thing! That would be awesome! Or an overnight, we can hike down and spend the night at Phantom Ranch, and hike out the next day... or... even better - hike down, stay at Phantom Ranch and hang out a day or two exploring the canyon, then hike out. Plus it gives a chance to rest, the hike back up is a doozy i'm told. 7-8 miles constant uphill switchbacks, plus it's the desert. Isn't it freaky how at the top of the canyon it snows, but the bottom is desert? I love it!

I always fall asleep watching TV too, especially metal mania (lol) just puts me right out! We still don't get Palladia here, I think in January? For some reason I don't fall asleep watching "science" shows, though everyone else I know seems to

I'd love to, but I doubt very much I could take the time off of work with the business, and I don't have money to spend on a vacation like that.

I can't afford it either but maybe in the future?!
