Subaru Impreza WRX

As most of you know I have an Impreza. It's been a reliable car (for the most part 14 years now). Although I don't consider it to be fast or a muscle car, it is a trooper in the shitty winters we have here with the AWD. If I had more money and wanted to modify it, I could turn it into a WRX, but the car is too old now to mess with, even though it'll run for at least another 12-14 years. Check out the WRX...

An Impreza with 530 HP?? That is a fast car! How could a four cylinder have that much power?

Well, first off it's a "box - 4 cylinder engine" like a Porsche. Not a straight inline one. Add a super charger, headers, and a couple other mods, those cars kick serious ass! They can blow most V-8's away.

One other question........is the driver insane??

LMFAO!!! I don't know if he's insane, but he races cars and knows how to drive that in "Rally" races. The WRX kicks ass in those! Just don't let him drive your car, ok?

Those cars kick-ass!! My old neighbor had one...I always teased him I was going to steal the keys from him!! Yeah, that Drift racing is some crazy stuff...maybe I'm just old-school but I like good ole' fashioned Drag Racing!

Well, a WRX can kick ass in a quarter mile run! My sister has a Volkswagen R-32. I took it for a test drive tonight. EXTREMELY fast, and I had fun. She said "you are a great driver".

I had to tell her a WRX would leave her car in the dust though.

I'm sure it would!! Is that Volkswagen the newer version of the old Rabbit? Was it a stick that your sister has...sticks are fun!!

Yes, it kind of does look like a VW Rabbit, but more high tech. It has a V-6 that puts out around 250 HP, with a 6-speed transmission. The WRX has 530 HP!

COOL! I just checked and I do think it's suppose to be the latest version of the Rabbit...it looked like one to me when I saw it! It sounds really COOL with the souped up engine stats!

Believe me, I know what that WRX is capable of my brother wanted to get one for awhile....he's always changing up his cars b/c he has an auto/tech background & can fix anything up even though he doesn't do that for a living anymore just on the side.

He has a Chevelle that runs 10's on the 1/4 mile not street legal he has to trailer that when he races. He also just picked up a 92' (I believe) Mustang that he's using as a fun "beater" car. He also has a brand new Chevy truck he uses for work...I come from a long-line of Motorheads. I'm just glad my bro. got rid of his bikes b/c they were too fast...he had a Ninja and then a Ducati (at different times)...my mom called me crying the day he bought the Ducati... haha My brother is the hardest working person that I know...he's so driven!! I couldn't be prouder of him because he is such a Great person too!!!

Hey, do you ever post pics directly from your computer or always from a photo site? (Is it even safe to do that?) I have some pics of the Chevelle & the Buick.

Those WRX's do kick ass! Wish I had one. It sounds like your brother has a killer Chevelle if he's running 10's. I'll bet Alan's Stang could hit 10's with the super charger he added.

I post pics from photo sites. You can't upload pics from your computer on this forum. Uploaded photos take up too much room on the disk space on the forum, so I had to stop that. Start an account on myspace, and make it private. You could upload tons of pics! When they're uploaded, click on a pic for the full size, right click on it, copy the URL and post it here that way using the IMG button.

You can also use photobucket of imageshack.

If you have trouble, email me the pics to Predental1@aol.com. I'll upload them to my "Cars & Bikes" album on myspace and post 'em for you.

I always had bad luck with imageshack. I do better on Photobucket.

They do kick-ass (WRX)!! My brother's Chevelle also has NOS on it too...that's why!! but I do love Chevelle's...yea, I saw under Alan's hood...it looks fast!!
