This is an awesome song! Yes, I know it's mellow and a ballad, but this tune hits me for some reason and gives me chills. Enjoy...

I've often said that Jack Russell isn't the hottest guy I've seen, but all he's gotta do is sing and I'm turned on.

One of the best songs of the 80s along with Cinderella's Nobody's Fool imo. Great White is probably more remembered for that horrible fire but they are a great band. Russell has pipes and Mark Kendall is an excellent guitarist. Always liked these guys. -------------------- |

I really loved Cinderella too! Nobody's Fool is a Great song & I love Tom Keifer's unique, scratchy, high-pitched voice. We used to play that song over and over again... the beginning actually sounds like the beginning of Pink Floyd's "Hey You" for like 3 seconds.
I am loyal to all Philly bands Jeff LaBar used to work at George's Music @ here sometime in the 90's an old bf worked there with him and he was a really nice guy!! I used to bug him to play me stuff I like Skid Row too! GN'R & Skid Row at Hershey Park Stadium was the first concert I ever went to!! It was Awesome!! ~Chris |

Cinderella kicks ass! At least back in the 80's they did. I think Tom Keifer's voice is shot now.

I actually meant "Comfortably Numb" not "Hey You"...(last comment)
Yea, I'm not sure about that John, you'd think that anyone that sang with the "harshness" rasp...also Axl, that their voice would take a beating for it esp. later on in life?? I used to free-style draw the Cinderella logo on my school notebooks during class! hahaOhh HELL YES!! I remember Heaven's Edge, Lisa!! They were one of the bands we had to come out to see at the Cellblock. I used to "bug" them too! Heaven's Edge MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/heavensedgefans Remember Spread Eagle?? (the name) ![]() http://www.myspace.com/spreadeaglenyc They had some reunion show a few years back? The Cellblock, I didn't go, there were a quite a few bands though from the old times that I remember or was friends with. CellBlock Reunion Page: http://www.myspace.com/cellblockreunion ~Chris |

I got an invite to the Cellblock reunion, through myspace, but I couldn't go. I saw so many different bands back then.
Teeze (later Roughhouse) was one of my favorites. THey used to let me & a friend of mine dance alongside them on stage. I remember seeing Cinderella at the Empire. I also saw Kix and Overkill there. Another band was Whitefox. For some reason their name just sticks with me. Another band was called FX Shon. Oh wait - Madhatter and Anvil Bitch were two other bands I saw. Anvil Bitch was a thrash band and their singer was a real jerk. He thought he was better than everyone else. A friend of mine dated one of their "roadies" and she absolutely loathed him. -------------------- |

Hey!! I wasn't invited!
I don't have Myspace I remember Roughhouse...that was you?? on stage?? What kind of dancing? (j/k) RH are on the Cellblock reunion page "music player" We used to see RH, Taken, Chainsaw Jane, my BF at the time was friends with Spread Eagle. Actually Rob DeLuca, the bass player from Spread Eagle has worked with many famous people includ: George Lynch check their page out they are touring musicians...still. Oh yeah, & he also stuck his tongue in my ear...in front of my BF Rock stars!! Yes, another HOT bass player! hahaBack to the topic: I also saw Britny Fox, Nitro and a few others I can't remember! I have a Billy Childs (douche) & Michael Angelo Batio (heck of a nice guy) story to go with that too!! (different occasions) haha. Then the band we were most loyal too were some friends of ours, Poseidon!! They were young & wild like us and were very talented! Matt D~the bass player is now the lead singer & lead guitarist for the band Single Bullet Theory...they are super heavy!! That would have been so Cool to see Cinderella, Kix & Overkill Live! I don't remember the other bands you mentioned though...there were SO many at the time, Philly actually had a pretty decent Rock scene at the time! I missed out on some things... Here's a video from @ that time 1990 of Spread Eagle's~ Switchblade Serenade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnQ7mWWi7Gs I really like "Revolution Maker" on the Spread Eagle MS page!! Single Bullet Theory~Murder Machines: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DEXrCfDYtM It's heavy...there's some singing mixed w/ the death metal vocals!! ~Chris |
