Hey Everbody,
I'm a friend of John's from the Lynch Forum. I love music from all era's but especially loved the 80's I just started playing guitar again after not playing for years. I played rhythm guitar in a few coverbands in my youth...those were the days!! These days I am working on writing my own music and practicing. I also like singing and dabble with a few other instruments as well. It's been a dream of mine to record my own stuff. I'm also into anything Artistic. I enjoy painting, photography, and any other form of expressing yourself. I dunno...I like lots of different weird stuff Thanks for the invite John, I look forward to being here and meeting everyone at 80's Metal Mania Forum!! ~Chris |

Welcome aboard Chris!
![]() I used to watch "Land Of The Lost" too! ![]() I like your track. Like I said on G's site, I could shred on some solos with that! ![]() You are WAY better with recording on computers than I am. -------------------- |

Nice to meet you!! I watched Land of the Lost, too. There was a marathon on TV Land or Boomerang or something awhile ago and I couldn't believe how cheesy everything really looked! -------------------- |

Thanks for the Welcome Everybody !
Thanks JT , you should totally shred a solo over it!! Thanks Diofan, Cool drum kit!!...btw...DIO rules!!! Hello, Girlfriends...lol I can't tell you how happy I am to meet some other women that like cool music too! I watched all those "cheesy" shows from the 70's. I guess the cheesiness was just part of the charm to me. Metalbabe, check out the riff I made at the GL Forum...if you have a few minutes. It's called "Attack of the Sleestak" it explains the whole Land of the Lost story...LOL! JT- Since you are feeling the heavier stuff these days...with the mixed mellow/heavy tempos...may I suggest you add the "White Zombie- La Sexorcisto Devil Music Volume I" album to your playlist. It is really a great solid album. Jay Noel Yuenger, "J",is a great metal riffer...it's catchy, groovin', good long songs with diverse changes throughout each song. A metal-lovers must have! Rob Zombie's vocal styling is different & may take time to get used to but he doesn't scream/yell...lol! Thanks, ~Chris |

I'll see what I can do with some guitar solos! I might add some bass, and another rhythm guitar part. I wish it was a little longer, but it's cool to play around with.
![]() The heavier stuff I'm into lately isn't really that heavy... like thrash or that death metal crap. More of a Lynch, Maiden, Priest, Sabbath influence. ![]() I'm sorry, but I'm not really into Rob Zombie's music. -------------------- |

Thanks for the compliment Chris. If you like, you can hear some samples of that drum kit on the Toolsheds thread.
Maybe I should head over to the Lynch forum and give the "Attack of the Sleestak" a listen. John's got great tastes in music so if he likes it I'm sure I will too. -------------------- ![]() You take a mortal man, And put him in control. Watch him become a god, Watch peoples heads a roll. You might have trouble finding her thread with all of the spam. We always post our tracks in the "Guitarist Forum". Here's Chris's thread...

JT- I know, I should have made it longer...I thought that too! I still can with the nifty computer recording but, I just don't have the time right now to do that...that wasn't the finished version either. Hope you can still have fun with it..Do it up!!
Lynch, Maiden, Priest & Sabbath "heavy" influence sounds Awesome! That's cool, we don't have to have everything in common...LOL! Although, I don't really consider White Zombie as thrash or death metal...they are kinda in a class or their own. I'll still try to convert you though to some of my heavy stuff...Hahaha! DioFan- Who ever called you guys "Toolshed's" were just Jealous...I'm sure! "Die With Your Boots On" Rules!! Loved the drums Diofan...esp. those double bass parts! What a great catchy song...everybody was really tight...I enjoyed the singing & guitar parts as well. That Attack of the Sleestak was my first attempt ever at recording anything so it has some flaws but was just a good learning experience for me. ~Chris |
